Maria Foreman
FOUNDER
Maria Foreman emerged from the depths of corporate America with a conviction forged by experience. After years of climbing ladders that led nowhere meaningful, earning degrees that were quickly undervalued, and giving her all to companies where she felt like nothing more than a number — Maria knew she was created for more.
She spent years in an industry that, to her, seemed to exploit people in their most vulnerable moments — turning injuries and distress into profit margins. But it was in those moments of disillusionment that she found her purpose. There, she met the men and women who keep the world afloat — the unsung laborers behind our supply chains, infrastructure, and coastlines. Their stories — of hardship, sacrifice, and being overlooked — resonated deeply with Maria, who had walked her own road of being unseen.
A single mother, a survivor of loss, and a woman of unwavering faith, Maria has endured with grace. Her heart has always been bent toward guiding others through their trials — not just with words, but with action. She believes deeply in justice, humanity, and her guiding principle: “Do all things in decency and in order.”
Through Anchor & Grace, Maria is building more than a nonprofit — she’s building bridges across broken systems, creating space for every person to be seen, heard, and helped. She invites you to join the effort. Because no matter where you come from, there is always a place for you at Anchor & Grace.
